Eight Willows Retreat is situated in the heart of Margaret River’s vast wine country, a picturesque property on the edge of iconic South West jarrah forest. A perfect venue to accommodate all your friends and family and share this special time in your life.

Eight Willows Retreat creates an ‘all-in-one wedding experience’ to ensure your special day flows effortlessly. Enjoy your ceremony in a unique outdoor setting, followed by a reception which reflects your personality.

We offer a combination of unique event spaces and deluxe AAA rated 4.5 star (self-catering) accommodation all at the one location. The addition of new exclusive luxury 5 star suites and a brand new purpose built function centre complete the retreat’s ambience.

Our professional and experienced wedding co-ordinators are happy to assist you with your wedding planning and attend to every detail.

Ceremony

The stunning setting of 8 Willows Retreat has all the elements to create a truly memorable wedding, with a ceremony merely metres from your reception venue, making the transition from ceremony to celebration seamless.

The grounds encapsulate nature's beauty and provide five choices of ceremony settings. A picturesque lakeside setting, rolling hills with vineyard vistas, the symbolic and captivating Willow Tree, the enchanting garden Gazebo or the tranquil intimate bush chapel surrounded by old growth forest. Have your ceremony in one and your professional wedding photos in another, or in all five. The choice is entirely yours.

Ceremony: Free (when booking Reception and Accommodation). There is a charge for ceremony only functions.

Included in the ceremony hire is your choice of unique wedding site, exclusive use of The Gazebo (power supply available) and a charming round French table and chairs for the signing ceremony.

Reception

The stylish lake-front purpose built function centre provides the perfect setting for your wedding reception. The panoramic views overlooking the vines and lake are spectacular, while the carefully chosen soft furnishings provide the perfect ambience for a romantic wedding. Our dedicated team will take care of all the important details from the moment your first guests arrive allowing you to simply relax and enjoy your special day.

Our function centre is suitable for up to 160 guests seated or 300 guests for cocktail style. The ideal reception room with an intimate setting that is traditional, classic and provides an elegant location in stunning surrounds, with an abundance of natural light and superb views of the lake and adjacent vineyard from its terrace-style decking.

We understand that not everybody wants to have a large reception at our exquisite property and we are more than happy to accommodate small wedding receptions. Peak season venue hire $5500 - of peak rates available upon request. Venue hire includes our standard tables (longs or rounds) and chairs, white linen (including napkins), cutlery, crockery, glassware, ceremony chairs and signing table plus set up and pack up. Included from Empire Events with every booking is tabletop styling of Gem brass Lanterns and glass creative boxes for styling of flowers and candles.

Beverages

Packages include a selection of two red wines, two white wines + two full strength beer/cider options from your chosen package. Beverage packages also include one sparkling wine, one light beer, sparkling mineral water, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Beverage options are primarliy local to showcase to you and your guest the amazing variety and quality in locally produced wine and beer. Beverage packages are for a duration of 5 hours with the option to extend if you wish.

Our partners at Empire Events specialise in designing and styling weddings and special events and are the experts in creating the perfect atmosphere and experience.

The care shown in the detail of your setting will instantly set the mood from the moment your guests arrive. Your vision could be an enchanting forest wedding, a fun-filled bush banquet or an opulent and lavish soiree.

Our cocktail wedding package makes good use of the lovely grounds of 8 Willows Retreat. Hosting your event in front of the pristine lake, we create a beautiful garden setting with comfortable occasional furniture and bar tables and stools. Festoon lighting designed overhead to light your open air event and a feature service bar for drinks service.

Extras

From Bedouin lounge areas to champagne stations, the way we can set up the venue is only limited by your imagination and budget. Extras include driftwood arbour, outdoor festoon lighting, seashell chandeliers, wooden candlestick holders, soft sheepskin throws, antique cake stands and more.

Accommodation

Our luxurious chalets are nestled in a secluded forest backdrop to ensure your privacy. Fully-refurbished in truly opulent style, these chalets leave nothing to be desired.

Lake View Chalets

Lovingly ftted out to perfection with top of the range Miele appliances, stone bench tops, travertine marble foors, and stunning deluxe bathrooms with combined spas and showers, these chalets are a haven for the ultimate unwind. With love in the air, you can be sure that the sensational views across the lake from the elegantly-styled and spacious queen size bedrooms will evoke a sense of romantic luxury that will stay with you forever.

An exclusive triplet suite overlooking the lake can be utilised as bridal and honeymoon suite. This superb suite takes indulgence to the next level with king size beds, LCD televisions, gas log fres, air conditioning, double spa baths and stylish jarrah decking.

FOREST VIEW CHALET

The striking two - bedroom Forest View Chalets have a magnifcent jarrah forest backdrop, and feature private verandahs, luxury queen bedroom suites and deluxe bathrooms, with a spacious corner spa and separate shower. Our attractive one queen and two single bedroom chalets are confgured to accommodate single guests or families.

Two one - bedroom king suites are also available with the Forest View for couples who prefer to relax in cosy surroundings with well-appointed features like large separate showers and double spa baths, LCD televisions, gas log fres, air conditioning and much more.

VINEYARD VIEW CHALETS

Our Vineyard View Chalets consist of one exclusive triplet chalet with three king bedrooms, large separate showers and double spa baths.

We can also ofer a choice of eight, one bedroom chalets with king-beds, air conditioning, large separate showers and double spa baths, gas log fres and LCD televisions.

The chalets are ideally located to capture the magic of sunrise across Celestial Bay Vineyard. This is a visual spectacle for couples dreaming of an intimate occasion and offers a myriad of photographic opportunities.
